Even though I was never officially diagnosed with add/adhd I definitely have a few symptoms of it. Mainly the hyper focusing, brain always thinking, etc, etc. But.. the hyper focusing part is actually pretty cool… and at the same time dangerous.

My brain’s ability to hyper focus on something until I feel it’s at a point of near or 100% completion is actually pretty amazing in my opinion. It allows me to basically live in my own world for a while and just focus on something until I get it done. That’s the cool part.

The dangerous part is… well.. that’s how I gained over 300lbs years ago. And you know what.. I’m doing it again right now. But… luckily I’m not gaining weight this time around. lol.. But it’s so crazy to hyper focus on something and then in what feels like… a blink of an eye… 8-10 hours have passed!

But this recent hyper focusing has lead me to complete another part of the on going swan song project. (update 1)

The wife has been pushing me to complete a bunch of long over due tasks, so with the help of my recent collaboration with my AI agent.. lol.. we developed MunsieDo which is a very easy to use but surprisingly robust, task manager.

I added a bunch of tasks to do, including getting the sawn song project released on another platform. But that was fairly low on the priority list it turns out. So after completing a bunch of tasks, this swan song task hit me a like a ton of bricks.

Next thing I know I’m knee deep in code, testing out all the updated Android SDK files, researching Google Play requirements in 2026, etc, etc. 48 hours goes by like it didn’t even happen. A crazy bug appears in my game after everything has been updated to use the latest and greatest SDK (software development kit). ahhh crap!

Luckily the head developer of one of the SDKs I work with agrees to work with me on this. YES! After going back and a bit (8 hours or more) we find out what the problem is and I’m able to move forward!

So in this 48+ massive hyper focused session… I completed the following:

  • Debug and test the updated app
  • Debug and test the updated SDK and resolved all build errors
  • Tested the updated app on Windows 11 and Android devices
  • Added the app to the Google Play Store
  • Created a new store listing, media, app descriptions, etc.
  • Produced a new video trailer for the app
  • Submitted the app for release on Google Play

I mean, I was hoping I would get this done “sometime in 2026” but I didn’t realize I would warp into this hyper focus mode and get all this done in a marathon 48 hour session, yes… unfortunately with minimal sleep. But wow… it’s frickin done!!!

Well… I still have to wait and see if Google will approve the app. For this particular platform, it has to go through a real human network of people that will verify the app. A lot has changed since the last time I submitted an app to the Google Play store. If they approve the app.. my goals and ambitions for this year could change…. dramatically.

Going to be a bit nerve wrecking until I get a response from Google Play. I need a distraction.. I’ll probably do a few days of fishing once this bad weather blows through. Ah… yes… the spring time storms.. and their tornadoes… are here. lol..
